YOU CHOOSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT SPIRITUAL HEALTH
New life is beginning to burst forth all around us as spring is nudging winter’s cold away. And the Holy Spirit is calling us to a deeper relationship with God through Christ as we anticipate the joy of Easter that is to come! The Conference Leadership Development Team encourages you to come seeking new life also as we have sought out a few places, spaces, and models below that provide environments to intentionally place yourself in a posture before God so that you can better hear and experience new life in Christ.
We invite you to make application to receive a grant from the LDT to the model that best fits you. We are asking for a personal investment from you of only $50.00 to any of these offerings, and the LDT will provide additional funds up to $500.00! We encourage you, and/or your Covenant group to intentionally seek God and the abundant life that only God can give and be expectant of what God will do, in and through you!
Shake off the cold of winter and the daily practice of ministry for a time and come apart with Jesus so that you can experience what only Christ can bring! The deadline is May 15, 2017.

The Academy for Spiritual Formation Two Year Academy
Western North Carolina has received a grant opportunity which offers $2000 grants to participate in a 2 year program through the Encouraging Spiritual Leaders (ESL) program. $1000 will be offered by the Academy and the Leadership Development Team will match the $1000 for a total of a $2000 grant. This is available to 5 WNC clergy or ministry professionals. Contact Kim Ingram if you are interested in a matching grant. More information is available at: http://academy.upperroom.org/events/two-year-academies
Once you commit to participate, you should register for the event and then submit a participation form so that the balance due can be paid directly to the provider. Click here for a downloadable participation form. Please submit the participant application by May 15, 2017, along with a copy of your registration confirmation or invoice, to Kim Ingram at firstname.lastname@example.org. If online registration is required and registration is more than $50, the Leadership Development Team will reimburse you the difference. The preference is for WNC to pay the provider directly and we have been in touch with each of them.
Leadership Development Funds are provided through WNC local church apportionments. If you have an idea for a future opportunity, please email Kim Ingram at email@example.com. Questions? Contact Kim Ingram or Marsha Bradley at firstname.lastname@example.org (704-535-2260).
